About Us
| Community and Rural Development Society (CRDS) was established on 9th November 2004 and registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act. The organisation was founded with the vision of contributing to the social and economic development of rural and disadvantaged communities. Starting with a commitment to grassroots development, CRDS gradually expanded its activities through skill development, capacity-building and livelihood promotion programmes, particularly benefiting women, youth, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and economically weaker sections. Over the years, CRDS has conducted training and development programmes in areas such as tailoring, carpentry, masonry, mobile and bike repair, basic computer skills, organic farming, vermicompost production and bakery.
