Indigenous Women and Children Foundation

About Us

The Indigenous Women and Children Foundation (IWCF) was established in response to the growing need to protect the rights, dignity, and well-being of Indigenous women, children, and youth, particularly those experiencing social, economic, cultural, and institutional inequalities. The Foundation emerged from a commitment to address discrimination, exclusion, violence, limited access to opportunities, and other challenges affecting Indigenous communities.

Over the years, IWCF has focused on empowering women, children, and youth to understand and exercise their rights and to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect their lives and communities. Through community-based initiatives, awareness programmes, capacity building, advocacy, and partnerships, the Foundation works to strengthen individuals and communities while promoting equality, justice, and social inclusion.
