| Ashajyoti – Empowering Lives, Enriching Communities ‘ASHAJYOTI is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the holistic development of persons with disabilities and the socio-economic progress of society at large. In 2011, Shishu Sarothi of Guwahati embarked on a project for an early intervention center for children with disabilities, in collaboration with CRY. However, by 2013, the project came to a close. Encouraged by some of guardians, and friends, we decided to persist and formally registered as Ashajyoti under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 to continue the center. Our journey has been marked by unwavering dedication and leadership from dynamic youth, notably Mr. Jiaur Rahman and Mr. Jogendra Bania.
