About Us
| Sanatan Unnayan Sangstha (SUS), Cachar, Assam is a registered ‘Non-Governmental- Not for Profit Organization’ which has been working for the upliftment of downtrodden, marginalised/ pro-poor people mainly for the tea gardens (including shut tea gardens) and rural areas since its inception 2006. The Sangstha is serving in the field of Health, Education, Livelihood, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Environment and Community Development in Cachar, Hailakandi and Sribhumi districts of Barak Valley region under southern part of Assam (and may extend in need).
1. To provide cost effective, sustainable people- friendly health and education for women, children & adolescents of weaker sections of Society. 2. To provide employment to unemployed youth & women of the disadvantaged sections of Society through agriculture and other engagements. 3. To provide pre, during & post disaster needs of the Society. |
