About Us
| Navoday Foundation began it journey as a voluntary organization in December 2016. The broad theme of Navoday Foundation is to strengthen rural livelihoods amongst the most marginalized in the community. Navoday Foundation took up promotion of scientific mushroom cultivation as a sub-sector to strengthen the livelihoods of rural women in a focused manner. To integrate the demand supply chain Navoday Foundation helped rural women to understand its Package of Practices (PoPs) through trainings and exposures. To help the women farmers Navoday Foundation promoted a Producer Organization (PO) to increase their power to bargain and reach scale of business at local Bhutan. Till now Navoday Foundation has brought 3800 numbers of women mushroom farmers under its fold.
