About Us
| Established in 1985, the Realm of Nature Based Actions -RNBA is a grassroots, non-profit, secular, and non-governmental organization dedicated to the socio-economic development of communities in Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam. With an unwavering commitment spanning nearly four decades, RNBA initially focused on promoting indigenous eco-cultures, enhancing income generation, participating in active peace processes, and building capacities for grassroots CSOs/NGOs and leaders. Over time, RNBA has broadened its scope to include impactful interventions in Natural Resource Management & Livelihood, Organisational Development (OD), Land Rights and Entitlements, and Education, addressing the complex multidimensional developmental challenges faced by marginalised communities.
Our direct interventions have reached 148 villages, and interventions through network partners have covered more than 220 villages bringing the total to 368 villages. Today, RNBA collaborates with individuals and a network of CSOs/NGOs/leaders across Manipur, playing a pivotal role as a primary responder in relief activities during natural and developmental disasters and conflicts. Beyond immediate relief efforts, the organization is actively engaged in strengthening capacities of the PVTGs who are minor, vulnerable, and endangered tribes in Manipur. The growth of organization reflects its commitment to fostering positive change and resilience within marginalized communities, inviting all to join hands in making a lasting impact. |
